Matt has end to end accountability of sales & distribution across Asia Pacific & EMEA. This includes all channels, 10,000+ frontline staff plus the physical branch & ATM network. His responsibilities include driving sales productivity & revenue across Citi Priority, Citigold & Citigold Private Client segments in addition to managing the digitisation & transformation of the branch network. His job scope covers both the Retail Bank plus Cards & Loans business which together incorporate 5 million+ clients & USD $160+ Billion in client wealth footings. He has over 20 years work experience & held senior roles within Sales & Distribution, Operations & Compliance in addition to having significant country leadership experience. He has been in Asia for 15 years & lived in Singapore, Indonesia & Thailand. Matt joined Citibank from the Australia & New Zealand Bank where he was the Head of Wealth Distribution & Branch Network (Asia Pacific) having accountability for both the Affluent Banking & Private Wealth segments. Prior to this he worked for Standard Chartered Bank as Group Head of Distribution Reengineering in addition to spending 10+ years with General Electric, his last position being CEO of GE Money Indonesia in addition to being a board member of PT Astra Sedaya Finance, Indonesia’s largest auto finance company. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree & MBA from the University of Melbourne in Australia where he won the “Deans Honours Award” twice. He is married with four children, actively participates in motorsport & is a current Australian land speed record holder.
